Hi, I’m Jim Woods. I’m a writer, musician and dreamer. I’m also a Christ follower, husband and dad. I live in beautiful Nashville, TN with my wife and daughter.
After a nervous breakdown in August 2011, I discovered that I am creative, that I am a writer. My creative side was completely “unknown” to me. I found a part of me that needed to be explored and expressed through writing and music.
I want you to find the “unknown” aspect of your life. If you want a hands-on journal of the creative process, filled with encouragement, honesty, and community, this blog is for you.
I post on Tuesdays, Fridays and whenever I have something I really would like to share.
If you’d like to contact me my email is jim@unknownjim.com. I’d love to answer any questions about creativity that you may have. I’d love to become a full-time writer in the near future so I can help others discover their “unknown” creativity. Thanks for reading!
